Yes, please use our reservation tool on the website. We look forward to welcome you!

We accept all common credit cards. Specific: cash, credit- and EC-cards as well as coupons. We also accept Euros at a rate of 1:1 with Swiss Francs as change.

Our kitchens are open at the following times:

Lunch 11.30 – 14.00 (Saturday & Sunday from 12.00)
Dinner 18.00 – 22.00 (Friday & Saturday until 23.00)
Sunday 12.00 – 14.30 & 18.00 – 21.00 (times vary depending on the kitchen, visit the contact page for more info)

Our kitchens have a wide range of options on their menus, with or without meat, dairy, fish and gluten. Please inform our kitchen staff about any allergies and they can provide you with a suitable option. Coffee lovers can have their cappuccino prepared with a choice of milk options including lactose free, oat and regular.

KLARA is a restaurant. Take-away Döner, pizza and Pic-Nic are not permitted on the premises. Of course we allow baby food and are happy to provide warm water for preparation.

Yes of course! Should you not find anything in our menu you can bring your Auntie’s homemade cake for a small fee and you will be provided with plates and cutlery.

Doggos are welcome! Bear in mind that it can be busy, loud and hectic in the evenings. Your four legged family member may be more comfortable on our terrace during those times.

All our facilities are accessible by wheelchair. Should any issues arise, our bar-staff is happy to help.

You can find a changing table and sufficient space in our special needs restroom.

Basel is a city best explored by bike or public transport. We strongly endorse arrival by those means. Situated between Messeplatz and Claraplatz we are also easily accessible on foot.The closest tram station is “Clarastrasse”, which is serviced by lines 6 and 14.
